Owned and operated by the Doherty Family, Doherty's Campground has been hosting families for over 40 years of memories and smiles amidst the beautiful Catskill Mountains.
Nestled in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, our family-owned campground offers a camping experience for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Situated conveniently near East Durham, Windham, and Catskill, our scenic haven provides the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. WHAT WE OFFER
POOL
Dive into relaxation at our campground's inviting pool, a refreshing oasis nestled within the natural beauty of the Catskill Mountains. Renovated in 2024, this is the perfect spot to catch some sun!
Our sparkling pool beckons campers of all ages, offering a cool respite on warm days. Lounge on comfortable poolside chairs as you soak up the sun or seek shade under nearby trees. The pool's crystal-clear waters are meticulously maintained, ensuring a pristine environment for your enjoyment.
HIKING
Explore the wonder of hiking in the Catskills. We have trails that meet up to the state lands at the top of the Mountain. You are free to roam our 40 acres.
PLAYGROUND
A safe and entertaining area for children to play and make new friends. The playground is an enclosed area with a swing set for both the kids and the little ones. There is a rock climbing wall, slide, and playhouse located in the playground.
CAMP STORE
Convenient access to camping essentials, snacks, and local souvenirs. A regular stop for our young campers, we have a large selection of candy and treats. You can also purchase ice, merchandise, or borrow some books or board games.
RESTROOMS
We want your trip to be as relaxed and fun as possible, and providing you with Restrooms is part of that. Use of this amenity is available to everyone in your booking group at no extra charge. If you have any special requests, just let us know.
SHOWERS / LAUNDRY
On-site facilities to keep your camping gear and clothes fresh during your stay. The showers are located in both the men's and women's bathroom.
